Food is a true flavour of our island with superb seafood featuring strongly on our menu along with prime Orkney beef and lamb.
We work closely with local livestock farmers, fishermen and growers to select the best seasonal produce for our enviable larder ensuring we obtain the highest quality.
We strive to create delicious dishes from the freshest local ingredients.
As well as supporting local producers, we are keen to retain Orkney’s culinary traditions. We bake our own bread daily including ‘bere bunno’ or bannock (a traditional
flat bread) using stone-ground beremeal flour from the Barony Mill.
Our philosophy is about using the elements of Orkney’s natural environment from land & sea to provide a culinary experience to savour and remember.
To complement the menu, we offer a wide range of carefully selected wines, liqueurs, local ales, gins & malts. These can be enjoyed at your table, or in the more
relaxed setting of the lounge.
Foveran has 8 en-suite rooms furnished and equipped to meet VisitScotland 4 star Restaurant with Rooms quality assurance grading and recommended by the Which? Hotel Guide.
The bathrooms are stocked with luxury products from British-based fragrance house Duck Island, a leader in sustainable and environmentally-friendly business practices.
