Skerries Bistro

Skerries Bistro was opened in 2007 in a small conservatory. On 30 March 2014, the bistro relocated to a bespoke 'all glass' building located 80 metres from the cliff with views across the Pentland Firth.

Carole and Hamish Mowatt who own and run the bistro share the same enthusiasm for affordable good food made with local and seasonal ingredients. They aim to present a great meal with simply prepared food, efficient service and a comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy your time out.

Burwick Harbour is two miles from the property, where crabs and lobsters are brought in daily.  Hamish smokes the fish served in the restaurant, with the bistro's speciality being Hot Smoked Salmon.
