The very finest Orkney food and drink was on offer to Orkney Folk Festival visitors during the 2016 event.
Six local producers hosted pop-up stalls in the centre of Stromness on the Festival's Saturday, showcasing tasty oatcakes, cheese, buffalo burgers, fudge and much more.
With record-breaking ticket sales this year the Orkney Folk Festival was the perfect place to present the range of quality food and drink available in the islands. The sun was beating down on the festival's spiritual home of Stromness on the Saturday as concerts and sessions were held in and around the town's pubs and venues.
Attending the Orkney Food and Drink stalls on the day were:
- Argo's Bakery
- The Island Smokery
- Orkney Buffalo
- Orkney Fishermen’s Society Ltd
- Orkney Isles Preserves
- Stockans Oatcakes
